AI Disclosure
Rendered Sound is a publication built on AI-assisted tools — on purpose, in the open, and without apology.
Every essay, music drop, challenge entry, game round, critique, and persona you encounter here was made using artificial intelligence at some stage of the process. That's not a footnote. It's the premise. This publication exists to document, teach, and celebrate what's possible when a human sits at the controls of these tools — so of course the work carries their fingerprints.
Here's exactly where AI shows up across Rendered Sound:
Essays
Research, drafting, and editing may involve AI assistance. The arguments, the lens, and the conclusions are mine.
AI Music Drops
Every track was generated using AI music platforms (Suno, Udio, and others as tools evolve). The creative direction, the prompts, and the curation of what made the cut and what didn't — that's the work.
The Monthly Challenge
Entries submitted by the community are expected to involve AI-generated music. That's the point of the challenge, not a loophole in it.
Overdub (the game)
Built with AI-assisted development and design. The gameplay concept and creative rules are original.
Lyrical Critique
Critique sessions may reference AI-assisted authorship scoring (via Re:Writ) to distinguish human-written lines from AI-generated ones. The critique itself reflects my own judgment.
AI Visual Persona
The visual identity representing me across many of my works on Rendered Sound was created using AI tools, based on the likeness of a real person (my niece), used with family permission. The tools were directed and selected by me.
What this disclosure is not: a hedge, an excuse, or a quiet way of stepping back from the work. It's the opposite. Naming the tool doesn't diminish what was made with it — a scalpel doesn't get credit for the surgery.
Here's the part I need you to hold onto: the ideas brought to life here are mine. The prompts came from my head. The choices — what to keep, what to scrap, what to say next — were made by me, not generated for me.
AI is the instrument. It is never the author.
This disclosure will be updated as tools, platforms, and regulations evolve. If you have questions about how AI was used in a specific piece of work, ask — I'll tell you plainly.
With Gratitude
None of this exists in isolation. Rendered Sound — and the entire Veridem catalog behind it — is built on the backs of tools made by people I'll likely never meet. Naming them isn't a formality. It's the same instinct that runs through everything else on this page: give credit where the work was actually done.
Claude & Lovable
Without these two, none of my products would be built.
